We at MCEI really enjoyed presenting our booth “Startup as a Career Choice” at the University of Mannheim Career Fair 2019. On Tuesday, April 9, various founders presented their Startups at our booth and they have been eager to answer questions by interested visitors and prospective new team members alike. The 3 participating startups (MIRABESQUE, Swapfiets and RoadAds Interactive) were able to give participantes great insights into a career path in the startup world and why it is worthwhile to pursue an entrepreneurial career. Next to these personal insights and advice, all the participating startups offered several great internship and job opportunities in the Mannheim Startup Ecosystem.
Unfortunately, Transnational Medicine, a 4th participating startup announced, could not make it to the Career Fair due to a road accident that morning. We wish the founder to get well soon and are happy to get you connected in case you are interested in the company. Opportunities will be featured in our MCEI Startup Jobs Category soon.
We were excited to observe so many visitors getting inspired by the entrepreneurial career path and finding new opportunities with MIRABESQUE, Swapfiets and RoadAds Interactive. The representatives of our startups were overwhelmed by the great interest, openness and feedback they received including inspiring discussions with the students (many of which have not thought about a career in a startup before).
The Career Fair 2019 is still taking place until April 11 at the Ehrenhof of the University of Mannheim (4pm). As a visitor, no need to register! You are free to visit the Career Fair any time between 10am and 4pm during the three days (April 9 to April 11).
