After four exciting weeks of creating, refining, business plan and start-up development, pitch training and a lot of new input, this spring’s STARTUP LAB teams – located in Heidelberg and the Rhine-Neckar region – are ready for their final pitch event and will present their ideas in front of a top-class jury. They have got the chance to win 500 € and you have got the chance to be part of the experience!

Uni Mannheim is proud to be partner university of the federal project „Makers of Tommorrow“. The project is an initiative of the chancelor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, and about to encourage students to found their own venture.
It is open to all interested students. The programm consists of 10 modular units of 10 founding stories of promiment founders from Germany and the Sillicon Valley. Beside exclusive insights there are little tasks to apply the new knowledge.

As a young professional or student focused on business, supply chain and sustainability there are various career paths you could choose to make valuable impact in creating a more sustainable economy. Sustainable procurement is a very meaningful one that is not always on students' minds. Hear from young professionals and PhD-candidates first-hand how they are shaping procurement and supply chains for a truly sustainable future.
In this session you will learn about challenges and opportunities in this field covering different roles and industries. The World Sustainable Procurement Day takes place during the 24 hours of the spring equinox on March 21, 2022. and provides a multitude of different online sessions, presented by the Sustainable Procurement Pledge (SPP) Team, SPP Chapters & Champions, partners, and friends with only one goal – to empower and equip Procurement Practitioners with knowledge, best practice approaches, and practical solutions to sustainability challenges that our Profession needs to tackle NOW.
