Become part of Bacchus! Bacchus

Bachus is looking for motivated Software Developers who want to work with them on our vision of digital viticulture and support German wineries to stay competitive and keep producing such high qualities and world-renowned wines. The Bacchus team loves drinking wine and they are convinced it tastes even better if you have been contributing a tiny piece to the vintner’s journey by helping them cultivate the grapes and bottle the wines.

In concrete they are looking for:

• Web Developer (React)

• Mobile Developer (Flutter)

No theoretical knowledge necessary. Autodidacts very welcome

How the collaboration will be arranged is open for discussion. If you would like to practice your coding skills alongside your studies, you can be employed as a working student. If beyond that you share our vision and passion for digital viticulture and would like to participate on our big goals, you might become a long-term part of the company.

SOFTWARE IS EATING THE WEINBAU

How German vintners cultivate and manufacture wine will be going through massive changes in the next 10 years. Sensors on drones and tractors, machine-learning weather models, IoT in the vineyards – most technologies are still in their early stages but have the potential to improve decision-making significantly and automate processes. Bacchus software was founded by Philipp Bletzer, Maximilian Dick and Julian Herrlich. For the last two years they have been developing a software for outside operations of German wineries that digitalizes the most basic administrative and organizational processes in the daily business of the vintners and thereby saving them time, money and stress. Their software product could prove
itself already with some first test users.
