MCEI-tent @Innovillage
The Q-Summit will take place from April 21-22 in the Mannheim Castle and as an online event. The Q-Summit is one of Germany's most important conferences for entrepreneurship and innovation which is solely organized by students. With more than 500 participants, Q is also one of the biggest conferences at the University of Mannheim.
The Innovillage is the heart of the Q-Summit and is located in the university's Schneckenhof. It is open continuously during the conference and serves as a place to stay for participants who are not currently taking part in the events or workshops. In addition to our "MCEI tent" (tent 11 is expected), there are other tents of partner companies or startups.
There will be seven great startups/ initiatives that will present themselves and their ideas in our tent. So, make sure to stop by!

Online Workshop
Together with Luisa Frank of Burda Principals Investments, we will also offer the online workshop “Exponential Growth – What you need to know about Venture Capital” on the second Q-Summit day.
In this workshop, we will cover the basics of Venture Capital, how to get ready for VC pitches and a day in the life of a VC. When talking about the basics, we will cover some vocabulary, the regular VC journey and how a VC Fund works. To get you ready for VC pitches, we will talk about the right type of funds for your company stage and what you need to prepare. To shed some light on VC work from the insight, we will share the decision making process in a fund.
