Thomas Mehlkopf holds a B.Sc. (2008) in International Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Ludwigshafen am Rhein and an Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Mannheim Business School (University of Mannheim).

In his current role Thomas supports internal startups at SAP with the design and incubation of their Business Models, including aspects such as Go-to-Market, monetization and partnering. He also coaches internal early stage start-ups to prepare and pitch their solution to the investment committee at SAP (similar to VC boards). His focus areas include industries such as Healthcare and Financial Services as well as technology topics such as Blockchain which he is looking at from a Business Model point of view. Furthermore, Thomas was trained at Design Thinking as well as in Business Model Design and Innovation as a facilitator.

Prior to his current role, Thomas has worked as a management consultant for KPMG with various multinationals in the area of Corporate Finance and FinTechs.
