As part of the course MAN 633 Entrepreneurial Spirit in spring 2021 Christine Ullrich, Xiaorui Pang, Niklas Rausch and Tim Lix consulted Pacific Straws. Their main task was to evaluate und develop another product beside Pacific Straws main product glass straws since Pacific Straws still suffers from the pandemic. In doing so, the team performed market analysis, customer surveys and analysed costs. As a result of their analysis they concluded that laptop baggages made from used clothings and bike tubs could be a sustainable alternative for Pacific Straws.

Pacific Straws is a startup that is addressing environmental issues. They offer high–quality straws of glass that can be re–used. With this product they offer another puzzle piece to a zerowaste lifestyle. Also they offer another opportunity to avoid plastic and so help reduce plastic pollution.
