Indo-German Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition (EPC)

EPC 2018 is a live trans-border pitch up competition across India (Mumbai) and Germany (Heidelberg) for startups designing innovations with a social impact, and translation technologies. Through this event, startups get a platform to pitch their ideas to a wide range of experienced entrepreneurs and investors from India and Germany; seek mentorship from them; publicize their ideas; understand the Indian legalities to set-up their enterprises; and a chance to win cash-prizes. As your incubation-center supports many exciting startups, thus through this mail, we'd like to invite the startups mentored by your centre to apply their ideas to us at EPC 2018.

Why to participate in EPC 2018?

Platform: This event provides a unique platform to present your ideas, or showcase your startup to German and Indian investors; and chance to win cash-prizes.
Seek mentors: Get a chance to have tête-à-tête conversation with seasoned entrepreneurs from both the countries. This is an excellent occasion to seek mentorship for your startups, or get valuable feedback on your ideas. India is the world's third largest consumer market. German startups can tap on this opportunity, seek advise from entrenched entrepreneurs on how to venture into the Indian market and understand the Indian consumer behavior right from the people who have led several successful startups in India.
Understand the legalities to set up your company in India: Officials from the consulate general of India in Germany will be present at the event. German startups that are eager to enter the Indian market can get into contact with the specific authorities so to advance their understanding of the Indian legal system.
Translate your ideas, or learn from others: This is beneficial especially to the startups that would like to franchise their ideas in India.

When and Where?
