Every semester, great projects are carried out and ideas are spun, then it's off to exam time and the idea fades into obscurity. With the Academic Seed Accelerator Program (short: ASAP BW www.asap-bw.com) we encourage and push you to go one step further and validate if you can make more out of the idea. Maybe even a start-up?!
No matter if you are at the very beginning or have already developed a first concept, ASAP BW can help you to make the most out of it! Designed as a state-wide competition between students and alumni of all universities and colleges from all over Baden-Württemberg.

You can work when you want, from anywhere, and get digital support from the ASAP BW team in the form of step-by-step guidance in the Academy with templates and explanatory videos, as well as events & mentoring to develop your idea into a validated business model in 5 challenges. If you complete all challenges and submit your documents, you can qualify for the big final on 15.02.2023, win great prizes and make valuable contacts. You will also receive a certificate of participation for your CV and can also get up to 3 ECTS credits for your studies.

You still have questions? You are welcome to join the kick-off for teams and interested parties on October 19th 2022 from 16:30-17:00.

The funding program ”Young Innovators” supports young researchers from universities, non-academic research institutions and academies in developing and selling innovative products and business models. Fundable is the preparation for setting up a start-up that deals with innovative products, procedures or services, e.g. inventions, software or other technological know-how.

The program includes consulting and other support as well as a constant funding and income comparable with a permanent post-doc position. That is about to offer an alternative to a regular uni contract to enable researchers starting over with their ideas. As a long-term target the program tries to ease knowledge and technology transfer from academic and research institutions into business. Therefor it particularly aims at potential founders who were benefitting from other funding before that is about to end.

The next funding is open for application until 26 September. For more info follow the link.
