You need financial advice? Then participate in the next Elevator Pitching of Rhein-Neckar Technology Ventures on June 12, 2015 at the MAFINEX in Mannheim! Take the chance to convince 20 potential investors of your business idea by shortly presenting them your business concept (3-10 minutes). The investors include business angels, venture capitalists and opportunities for crowd funding. 

The aim of the Rhein-Neckar Technology Ventures Day is matching investors and start-ups. Key element of the event is bringing together investors and founders and facilitating interaction. Hence, innovative start-ups and young companies get the opportunity to meet well-known venture capitalists and private investors through speed-dating activities. The young entrepreneurs then have the chance to personally talk investors through their business idea and convince the enterprise’s potential success.

Hochschultage Nachhaltigkeit – Sustainability fair at the Universities of Mannheim and Heidelberg

For the fourth year in a row, the sustainability event “Hochschultage Nachhaltigkeit” will take place in Mannheim and Heidelberg.
This year's focus will lie on analyzing the state of today's society, and desirable future developments.

Friday, April 24 at Neue Universität Heidelberg:

In cooperation with the student initiative SICoR e.V., we have organized 3 workshops and a presentation.
Topics will be sustainable energy supply, social business innovation, education and democracy in the EU and emission permits.

Saturday, April 25 at the University of Mannheim:

Several workshops and a panel discussion about the future of mobility, sustainable HR management, waste management and the Sharing Economy.

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to get to know local initiatives and their contributions towards a sustainable future.

"Use the momentum - Political Signals for Capital and Innovation"

the title of the current EY Biotech Report addresses the positive global developments in the BioTech sector: a robust and dynamic IPO boom, financing records and some very positive figures in Germany. These developments have created a momentum that should be used to further advance the German BioTech sector. Now especially political action is required to utilize these chances - not only tax measures for investors, but also and especially a discussion about the connection of innovation and capital and the willingness to take the risk required to ensure the German competitiveness in the future.

Dr. Siegfried Bialojan, Head of the European Life Science Center, Ernst & Young GmbH, and author of the study will present the EY BioTech-Report within our TP-Forum.
