On January 15, 2021, the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economics launched the largest innovation and investment support program open to all sectors in the history of Baden-Württemberg. A total of 300 million euros is to be made available for Invest BW. Applications can be submitted with immediate effect.

More information on the programme will be provided in an interactive web seminar on February 4, 2021 at 10 am for which you can register now under https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/5776105528692559886

The programme is designed as following:

Two funding lines have been formed for individual company funding, for innovation funding and for investment funding. Companies from Baden-Württemberg are eligible to apply, and in the case of collaborative projects in innovation funding, also collaborations with research institutions or universities. The funding is granted by the state in the form of a non-repayable grant and is open to all technologies.

Research, development and innovation projects, including process innovations or non-technical innovations and service innovations, can be funded as part of innovation funding. The maximum funding here is five million euros and the implementation period is to be 24 months.

In investment promotion, companies can receive grants of up to a maximum of one million euros. Funding is available for establishment investments (settlements), expansion investments and investments in the transformation or diversification of an operating facility in Baden-Württemberg.
