InstaFreight founder Philipp Ortwein is a Uni Mannheim alumnus and was a speaker at the MCEI Founder Talks. He studied a Master in Management in Mannheim from 2009 to 2011 and then continued his education in Stanford and Harvard.

InstaFreight is a leading LogTech company that revolutionizes how overland transports are done today. InstaFreight offers new transport solutions in digitalizing the transport sector. Their target group are B2B-customers who like to freight single palettes or whole truck loads. The app is a one-stop-shop for freight within the European Union. Customers benefit from a reliable transport, freight carriers receive constant orders via their platform. The biggest carrier serving Instafreight has a fleet of some hundred trucks but average fleets are usually smaller. Instafreight was founded in 2016 and has more than 100 employees. The company received several investment rounds, the latest by Shell Ventures.
