Our featured guest for this event is ICODOS, a Mannheim-based climate startup.This Startup Lounge is a collaboration between MCEI and EXI.green. EXI.green serves as a gateway for individuals with green business ideas, offering support for those aiming to create ecological value and contemplating the establishment of a startup. Startups dedicated to climate, environmental, and resource protection can benefit from up to 9 hours of free expert advice. EXI.green is funded by the European Social Fund and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Tourism.ICODOS, one of the startups that was supported by EXI.green, will be presenting on this evening.Their mission is to de-fossilize chemistry and shipping by developing technology that transforms harmful offgases into a highly versatile liquid. The founders Francisco (ex-KIT & VTT & patent inventor), David (ex-McKinsey), Jens (ex-LANXESS & Merck) are on their way to finalize design and fulfill existing demand for their first industrial-scale plant, achieving € 3 million euros annual recurring revenue and a reduction by more than 4,000 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions per year.Join us at the Startup Lounge on February 20, 2024, at Agáta Café from 7:30 PM onwards.
