Apply now: The next edition of the Growth Alliance Idea Camp will take place in the fall - for anyone interested in innovations in agriculture, food and the bioeconomy. The Growth Alliance Idea Camp is a free hackathon for students, graduates and professionals from all disciplines, where you can develop your sustainable start-up idea in just three days - or find fellow campaigners for your existing idea.
Take on exciting challenges in the areas of smart farming, sustainable nutrition, bureaucracy reduction, nature and climate protection and bioeconomy. The best concepts will be awarded €1,000!

Female empowerment is in the air. It's finally time again for the Female Founders Dinner!
After a wonderful event last year, GIG7 invites you to the third Female Founders Dinner on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 in their beautiful courtyard at GIG7. Admission is at 5:30 pm, start at 6 pm.
In summery temperatures, look forward to an inspiring keynote speech by Anastasia Barner (founder of FeMentor), an exclusive vegan menu by Anny Gillmeister and to networking and exchanging ideas, making contacts and spinning ideas together.
The price includes admission to the event, a summer aperitif, the menu, water and wine as well as the program.

What: Co-Founder Match Making DeepTech Hub
Start into internet of things with Rasperry Pi and the visial application openHAB!
This unique offer is given to female founders by Startup Mannheim and GIG7. Topic will be a start in SmartHome with Raspberry Pi – Sms when the plant is to dry, Light on or temperature control off depending on weather conditions… So a very exciting and hands-on start into coding and there are no prerequisites needed apart from bringing your own laptop.
In detail the workshop will cover:
- Raspberry Pi – an introduction
- openHAB – installation and getting started on a Raspberry Pi
- sensors – getting aware of the environment and influencing it
- user interfaces - giving a face to data
- MQTT – getting things talk!
On Friday evening there will also be a networking event for those that cannot participate all the way (will be on meetup soon).
