The first Fire Camp for IT start-ups will take place from the 14th – 18th of August 18, 2017.
12 Teams will “go through fire” to validate their business concept. Above all, they will grow
immensely, receiving feedback of entrepreneurs, investors, executives and experts.
Take part and get ready for your first financing deal. Meet other entrepreneurs and feel the
founder’s spirit.
These all-day events will take place at innoWerft and SAP in Walldorf, at Technologiepark
Heidelberg and Mafinex Mannheim.
It starts Monday at SAP. We will listen to your 8-minute pitches, followed by group work and feedback (from other start-ups and top-class mentors of the SAP). You also have the fireside chat in the evening to look forward to. Compelling speakers will answer your questions in a casual, conversational atmosphere. Our guest speaker for Monday will be Luka Mucic, financial executive of SAP.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be challenge days. On those days, you will be coached individually by world class mentors. On Tuesday, you are again invited to a fireside chat. There you can talk with Günther Lang, investor of LAFAM Holding. On Wednesday, an investor from the San Francisco Bay Area, Yankin Tanurhan Ph. D., will speak to you.
Thursday will be your working day when you will put feedback und theory into practice. Tutors, experts etc. will be there to help and advise you. After that, we will have a barbecue and another fireside chat together. This time, you can talk to Hans Spielmann Ph. D., managing stockholder of Weldebräu.
Friday will be pitch and decision day. In the morning, you will have time to “polish your
presentations ‘till they shine”. In the afternoon, you will pitch in front of a jury. It is worth the
