We are thrilled to invite you to the fourth and final Startup Lounge of this semester! Our distinguished guest for this event is byho, a biomass recyling startup based in Ludwigshafen.
bhyo is a startup based in Ludwigshafen that aims to produce carbon-negative hydrogen from local biowaste in regional concepts. It is their mission to help municipalities become more autonomous in both their biomass disposal as well as their energy distribution. The company is currently re-constructing a demo plant in Speyer in a federally subsidized project. Further, bhyo is engineering a pilot plant that will be scaled to produce up to 400 tons of hydrogen per year from local biomass streams and could help store more than 10.000 tons of carbon dioxide each year.
