MakeSense is a global movement that wants to connect social entrepreneurs with volunteers to make them discuss business challenges together. In order to reach this, they conduct workshops that combine social entrepreneurship with fun group brainstorming. There is only one simple goal: to help the entrepreneurs in solving their problems with creative solutions.
On the 19th of March, you will have the chance to join their first Hold-Up in Mannheim and experience this great concept first-hand!
The participants will speak to the founders of Kancha, a startup that sells design products that have been fairly produced in Kyrgyzstan. Their design sleeves for notebooks, tablets and smartphones are made by hand and under fair conditions from natural felt and leather. Thereby, Kancha connects the nomadic tradition with mobile metropolitans and supports the economic development of Kyrgyzstan.
The event will take place on the 19th of March from 18.30 to 20.30 at room 210 at the IFM (L9, 1-2). Please note that a registration on Facebook is required!
