At the startup weekend to-be-founders get together to work on their (existing) ideas for 54 hours and pitch them investors, mentors and other founders afterwards.

You have an idea, but no clue how to make it happen? You need others to join your team? In this case Startup Weekend is just the right place. Not everyone needs to bring his/her own idea. You might as well join other teams with your skills. The most important thing is that you want to make something happen
About the Startup Weekend
The Startup Weekend is a three day event that focusses on the founders of tomorrow. Whether it is Business-specialists, designers, developers or students - everyone can participate. Within 54 hours you get time to work on your idea and get support from mentors as well as new input from our talks and presentations. This way we ensure your success!
About the organizers
The Startup Weekend Rhein-Neckar is organized by Heidelberg Startup Partners e.V., MAFINEX Gründerverbund and Entrepreneur Rhein-Neckar e.V. featuring Hackerstolz e.V. as well as the IT Forum Rhein-Neckar e.V. The StartupWeekend is held twice a year at different locations in the region Rhein-Neckar. This time the event will be held in the MAFINEX technology center in Mannheim.

"Zünder für Gründer" is Heidelbergs own startup networking event where founders, investors and startup enthusiasts come together to make new connections and enjoy themselves.
On October 1 starting at 5 pm the Regionalcup Rhein-Neckar of the Elevator Pitch BW will take place at the Dezernat 16.
Ten young entrepreneurs will pitch their ideas to a jury in 3 minutes. Only one team will receive the ticket to the grand finals in spring 2016 in Stuttgart.
After the pitches the Entrepreneurship Club meets Zünder für Gründer event will connect the startup scenes from Mannheim and Heidelberg to have a drink, some food and exchange their ideas.

Founded in 1990, INTEGRA is the student consultancy at the University of Mannheim and may look back on a staggering number of over 300 consulting projects. In order to bring a breath of fresh air into their clients' businesses they provide dedicated highly client-oriented project teams that deliver the latest research findings directly from the auditorium into the business. With preparatory training and workshops with well-respected partners you will be prepared to succeed in internal and external projects. Please note that fluency in German is cumpulsory for all applicants.
INTEGRA is preparing you to start your career in all areas and fields of business. You will start your consulting career at INTEGRA with an internal project in order to get to know INTEGRA and learn all skills necessary to succeed in and apply for external projects. Besides this project you will also engage in the internal teams for PR, project acquisition, HR, quality management or IT and thereby help us to develop our organization. Our monthly events, the weekly get-together and our strategy weekends are a lot of fun and a great opportunity to meet other like-minded people and business contacts.

The German Accelerator supports German tech startups to enter the U.S. market.
