With more than 100 clients across five continents in over 40 countries, Startup Genome is the world-leading research and policy advisory organization for governments committed to accelerating their startup ecosystems. Their publications, especially the annual Global Startup Ecosystem Report, are downloaded hundreds of thousands of times each year and covered in more than a thousand media articles each year including The Economist, The Atlantic, Forbes, TechCrunch, and more. Their engagements with innovation policy leaders aim to provide clarity and build momentum for focused action in order to increase startup success and faster growing startup ecosystems. The scope of regions vary from all sizes and at every stage of development, from Madrid to the Philippines, and New York City to Tel Aviv. Startup Genome began in 2011 as a project with Steve Blank, recognized Silicon Valley entrepreneur, Chuck Eesley (Stanford University), and Ron Berman (Wharton University) to codify success factors of startups and startup ecosystems.

- Enable physical and virtual interactions between top management and innovation policy leaders and startup ecosystem builders all over the world.
- Test, implement and improve your own ideas and frameworks to deliver new business opportunities and sales conversations for the company.
- Autonomously research and prospect key individuals, organizations and markets with a data-driven, iterative approach.
- Lead outreach campaigns and engage with business prospects and route the applicable leads within the Startup Genome team 
Identify, evaluate and initiate access to relevant databases and/or partnerships.
- Collaborate, prepare and lead ongoing meetings with top management.

- Comfortable with working in a multicultural and fast-growing startup environment
- Experience in Sales & BD, Growth Marketing or Strategy Consulting preferred
- Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a top program with a declared major in Business Administration, Economics, or similar field of study


Startupgenome Runs offices in San Francisco, Berlin, London and New Delhi. You will be working with the Sales and Business Development team based out of Berlin, London and New Delhi.

Start Date and Duration: ASAP, 3-6 months
Compensation: Competitive
