Startup Characteristics

Complicated tariffs and old ticket vending machines are not only a problem for today’s passengers of public transport. The offline world of public transport does not meet the needs of young, digital-affine travelers. We dedicate ourselves to changing this.

As trains/busses are already equipped with intercoms, we can make use of them in a new way. By emitting inaudible ultrasonic signals, the vehicle is able to send its position to passengers’ smartphones. This makes a better communication between passenger and vehicles in public transport possible.

Our cutting-edge technology enables check-in-check-out ticketing with pay-as-you-go account based billing (you ride 3 stations, you pay for 3 stations). Moreover, we offer individualized navigation and information (e.g. alerts, ‘next station’, …)

With BeeSonix, passengers will enjoy hassle-free travel across urban networks but rural landscapes as well. Operators get the opportunity of a cheap and smooth transition to post-paid, account-based billing and best-price models for a modern and digital public transport.
