Matthias Mittelsten Scheid, former student of the University of Mannheim and Head of HR Central & Eastern Europe will hold a lecture on the current development of Groupon. In his presentation he will show the transformation of the company from a voucher-platform to a marketing and lifestyle agency. Further he will talk about his own career from the University of Mannheim up to his current position at Groupon.
With over 10.000 employees in 48 countries, Groupon has grown tremendously over the last 5 years: Over 40 million deals with over 500.000 partners have been transferred worldwide. And Groupon is still growing and trying to establish itself as a global player. -
