SurveyCircle is a new type of internet platform that helps students and founders find participants for their online surveys in an easy and reliable way. In addition, SurveyCircle gives everyone a chance to witness and support exciting research projects. In contrast to commercial survey panels SurveyCircle is not based on paid participants but instead uses a novel approach: it relies on the principle of mutual and voluntary support.
Not being able to find enough survey participants is a widespread issue, particularly among students conducting empirical research and founders who want to test their business ideas. Oftentimes, sample sizes end up being too small so that it is impossible to draw substantiated conclusions from the survey data. SurveyCircle now offers a thought-out solution to address this problem.
The platform was founded by University of Mannheim alumnus Jonas Johé. He developed the idea for SurveyCircle while doing online research for his own master’s thesis at the chair of Business-to-Business Marketing, Sales & Pricing of Prof. Christian Homburg.
